The bust was designed to be a superhero who is capable of shooting lazer out of his eyewear. All the parts of the bust was joined together by score and slip technique and was refined by carving out the unwanted parts. The artist made the bust following the human anatomy in order to make it appear life-like. However, he also intentionally modified it, making parts of it more comic-like so as to inject uniqueness in it and make it art and not just a mere copy of life.

A (non-pandemic) Moment during a Pandemic
Charcoal on Paper
84.1 x 118.9 cm

My artwork is about my dad working at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, it was a way for the family to spend more time together even though he was often spotted focusing on his work. This moment captures the side of him that we rarely got to see.
