Nothing Lasts
Mix media with glass, acrylic paint, canvas

Nothing Lasts aims to discuss the ephemeral nature of existence and the impermanence of time. It is a canvas piece mounted to the floor, with tinted black glass layered on top. Time, once lost, is gone forever. It waits for no one. Everything is dictated by time, humans are no exception. We live and perish in time. Nothing Lasts attempts to capture fleeting moments. As each layer of glass begins to fracture, it appears as though the attempt is futile.
