The eyes are the window to the soul. However, the true nature of humans can be ugly, and thus we often keep our real selves to ourselves. I covered her eyes with flowers, to symbolise how us humans often conceal our inner imperfections, no matter how hard we try we can never truly hide, because flowers eventually wilt too. The mirror’s reflection shows tears of melted plastic flowing out of her right eye, depicting how society has taught us so much superficiality, even the inside of some of us is artificial.
